(you don´t need to use a compass but you do need to use a ruler!)

Challenge: What type of triangle is it? How do you know? Do all of the internal angles add up to 180 degrees?

Page 9: Use a calculator to find the answer to the expression.
Underline the terms (remember that the add and subtract symbols usually seperate the terms!)

Christmas maths homework Primary 4

Please complete the Christmas maths puzzle pack. 

Activities 1, 2, 3 are compulsory. 

Activity 4 (Christmas Bauble Challenge) is not.

Homework should be returned on 8th January 2018.

1. Cryptic Christmas code:
 Complete the times tables questions and use the key to reveal a secret message.

2. Subtracting fractions:
Complete the simple fraction subtractions. Draw a line or colour the boxes to match each Santa to the correct mince pie.

3. Dot to dot (12 x table):
Count in 12´s to complete the picture and colour. Practise the 12x table at home until you know it by heart.

4. Christmas bauble challenge (problem solving):
Word problems. Can you find different ways to answer the questions? Can you be systematic?

Please also make sure you know the 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 times tables...

You need to be able to answer quickly without counting on!

These will be tested at the end of January.

Hello everyone, Is that time of year again where we need to concentrate a little harder to do the end of term exams. Here is the timetable for all of the exams taking place very shortly.

Pupils should have taken home their maths notebooks and poly-pockets this week and will use these to revise for the maths test which will take place on Wednesday 25th October.
