Ja és hora de tornar a treballar i que en posem les piles!

Aquest trimestre comencem amb l'apòstrof, mireu si hem après coses en pocs dies!

Aquesta setmana hi haurà deures relacionats amb això, l'apòstrof.

Primary 3 Christmas homework

Science research project - Primary 3

·        Why do some birds migrate in winter?

·        How do Arctic animals keep warm?

·        Why do some animals hibernate in winter?

·        Do polar habitats have seasons?

1.    Choose one of the questions to answer.

2.   Research the question.

3.   Create an information poster to answer the question (like you did for seed dispersal or germination).

Include the features in my success criteria;

·        Title

·        Scientific pictures/diagrams with labels

·        Facts with CL, FS.

Christmas maths homework Primary 4

Please complete the Christmas maths puzzle pack. 

Activities 1, 2, 3 are compulsory. 

Activity 4 (Christmas Bauble Challenge) is not.

Homework should be returned on 8th January 2018.

1. Cryptic Christmas code:
 Complete the times tables questions and use the key to reveal a secret message.

2. Subtracting fractions:
Complete the simple fraction subtractions. Draw a line or colour the boxes to match each Santa to the correct mince pie.

3. Dot to dot (12 x table):
Count in 12´s to complete the picture and colour. Practise the 12x table at home until you know it by heart.

4. Christmas bauble challenge (problem solving):
Word problems. Can you find different ways to answer the questions? Can you be systematic?

Please also make sure you know the 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 times tables...

You need to be able to answer quickly without counting on!

These will be tested at the end of January.

SPANISH4: Algunas aplicaciones de castellano para estas vaciones

Queridos alumnos y alumnas de Primary 4, 

aquí os dejo algunas de las aplicaciones que tenemos en los Ipads del colegio para castellano y que tanto us gustan. Así podéis hablar con vuestras familias para que se les descarguen y jugar todos juntos en estos días de vacaciones.

Ya sabéis que la "Palabra Correcta" es para trabajar la lengua castellana y la de "4 fotos y una palabra" no solo trata de lengua, sino también de ser rápido, pensar y relacionar las fotos entre ellas para encontrar la palabra adecuada. 

¡Espero que paséis unas divertidas vacaciones! :)
